The Beta Kappa Chapter was established on May 18, 2013 in Silver Spring, MD to cater to women in D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. The chapter encompasses the tenets of Beta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc. and strives for excellence, sisterhood, and education. The Beta Kappa Chapter participates in a wide range of philanthropic services including Breast Cancer Awareness, Safer-Sex Awareness, March of Dimes, Operation Pretty in Pink, the Kennedy Krieger Institute, the Aids Walk, and many city-wide activities.
