Beta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc. has created a new National Program Initiative to engage with Lesbian, Bisexual, Queer women of color.  Beta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc. was found on the principles of awareness, education and sisterhood.  These new program initiatives are designed to reach our community to assist in motivating change, whether internal or external, while engaging in much needed conversations.  Whether you are looking to be a community activist or participate in a social event Beta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc. has designed a place for you.

LGBTQ+ College Tour

Beta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated is proud to announce the triumphant return of the groundbreaking 2016 LGBT Greek College Tour of the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia area as the 2025 National LGBTQ+ Greek College Tour.  

Beta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc. has partnered with several LGBTQ+ Greek organizations to speak to the needs of members of the LGBTQ+ community interested in Greek Life. The purpose of the meeting is to provide awareness and information to LGBTQ+ students of color on college campuses throughout the Washington, DC and Maryland areas.

Program Summaries


The B.E.T.A. Project – Becoming Elevated Through Action The B.E.T.A. Project is our effort to promote or direct social, political, economic, or environmental reform with the desire to make improvements specific to our community.  

Beta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc. is implementing and hosting programs that speak to the rise of political and socio-economic awareness amongst the LGBT population. These programs include community focused events pushing the cause for equality.  The idea is to mobilize our community so that our voices are heard.

 

R.I.S.E. – Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence: Signature programming for the success & growth of lesbian women of color

R.I.S.E. is programming for lesbian women of color to educate, uplift, and realize our power as lesbian women of color.  The program will consist of an educational series to reach our population and social events.  Our purpose is to positively impact our community while creating a safe and supportive environment for positive expression.
