2021 National Virtual LGBTQ+ Greek College Tour

Beta Phi Omega Sorority, Incorporated is proud to announce the triumphant return of the groundbreaking 2016 LGBT Greek College Tour of the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia area as the 2021 National Virtual LGBTQ+ Greek College Tour.

Beta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc. has partnered with several LGBTQ+ Greek organizations to speak to the needs of members of the LGBTQ+ community interested in Greek Life.  The purpose of the meeting is to provide awareness and information to LGBTQ+ students of color on college campuses throughout the Washington, DC and Maryland areas.

Through surveys and continued research, we know that most LGBTQ+ Greek organizations are not collegiate groups yet there any many college students who are interested in LGBTQ+ sororities/fraternities yet lack information.  We have designed a program and partnered with local colleges and universities to provide this much needed information to college students who are members of the LGBTQIA community.  Each session is designed to allow students the opportunity to engage openly with current and active members of LGBTQ+ Greek sororities and fraternities.

We are excited to have partnered with the following LGBTQ+ Greek organizations who share our goal and mission for this project: Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity, Inc., Omicron Psi Omega Inc., Omicron Epsilon Pi Sorority, Inc., Nu Phi Zeta Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Psi Kappa Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Omega Kappa Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Iota Sigma Sorority, Inc., Each organization is committed to community service, LGBTQ+ rights, equality and activism.

The Kick-Off for the LGBTQ+ Greek College will start with our social media campaign throughout the month of March with online promotions including games, trivia, prizes and much, much more.  We will continue the College Tour by hosting virtual sessions on college campuses across the country throughout the month of April 2021 with a many host colleges and universities to be announced.
